About

Australian Editor and Filmmaker. Working all around the world. (He/him)

I am a Narrative, Documentary and Music video editor with over 20 years industry experience. The directors I work with comment on my empathy, honesty and good humor in the edit room as well as my dedication to their projects.

Credits include “Cowboys” (Best Actor & Screenplay at Tribeca), “The Chair” (Best Short SXSW, in competition at Cannes), “Hotseat” (Sundance), “The Impossibilities” (Gotham Awards, Best Shortform series nominee), “Five Dances” (Palm Springs Film Festival) and “Pete Smalls is Dead” (Slamdance).  The doc series’ “Resist” (Pulse Films) for BLM and “Twiz & Tuck” for Viceland. I have created live concert visuals for Madonna, Nicki Minaj, Ricky Martin and BigBang and recently completed editing “Sound/Stage”, for the LA Philharmonic.

I’m a graduate of VCA Melbourne and NYU’s prestigious Tisch School of Film & TV. My years living in New York and LA provided me a lifetime of experience, both personal and professional. I’m a cis gay man with a husband, a kid and a dog.

I am also a writer, director & photographer. I’m a dual Iris Prize nominee (“These Empty Streets” & “Center of the Universe”) and have music video, branded, fashion film and short film credits. I’m currently developing my own feature and TV projects.

I’m particularly interested in underdog stories as well as projects created by people currently under-represented in the entertainment industry. I grew up on the south coast of Australia on a consistent diet of surf movies and soap opera’s. A brown, gay kid in a white town I spent a lot of hours hiding in the dark at the local arthouse cinema. That’s probably why I ended up doing what I do.
