Synopsis: When you're stuck in a small town it's exciting to plan your escape to the Bright Lights of the big city. At 13, growing up seems hard enough. But when your ticket out of town finally arrives, will the look on Grandma's face make it even tougher?
Notes: Made for the 2004 Geelong Shootout Competition. The Shootout required the film to be edited only in-camera, to be produced within the 24-hour period from 9pm Friday April 9 to 9pm Saturday April 10 (start of the Easter long weekend), have a duration of 7 minutes or less and include certain specific items. The film had to be submitted on VHS tape. This was the first year of the Geelong Shootout, previously only held in Newcastle. The ten mystery finalists were screened on the night of Sunday April 11, 2004.
Prize for Best Film included a $10,000 industry package and $4,000 cash. Genevieve and Jarrah used this help to produce "Webster Say" in early 2005.
